High Point Trip Recap
Troop 17 had a great time at High Point State Park this past weekend. The Scouts hiked 5 miles to the highest point in New Jersey. The Philmont crew carried their backpacks the whole way. It was still snowy and the temperature dropped to 36 degrees. A campfire was built and dinner was extra tasty after the long hike.

Details: Adult and Scout volunteers are needed to clean up the graves of veterans in the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Service hours will be given to participating Scouts.

Memorial Day Ceremonies
When: Monday, May 27th @ 8:30 AM
Where: St. Stephens & St. Rose of Lima Cemeteries
Details: Scouts are invited to participate in the Memorial Day Ceremonies. Scouts will meet at St. Stephens Cemetery. At the conclusion of the ceremony, they will walk over to the St. Rose of Lima cemetery for that ceremony.
What to Wear: Full Class A

Details: Scouts are invited to participate in the Memorial Day Parade. Line-up is at Millburn High School and parade ends at Taylor Park.
