High Point Trip Recap

Troop 17 had a great time at High Point State Park this past weekend. The Scouts hiked 5 miles to the highest point in New Jersey. The Philmont crew carried their backpacks the whole way. It was still snowy and the temperature dropped to 36 degrees. A campfire was built and dinner was extra tasty after the long hike.

What to Wear & Gear: Trail bicycle, standard backpacking gear, Class B uniform (Optional- UL only what fits in your neckerchief)
Activities: 10 miles trail bike ride, hobo camping, Scouting skills
