SUMMER CAMP AT CAMP YAWGOOG
When: Sunday, July 28 - Sunday, August 4, 2019
Where: Camp Yawgoog, Rockville Rhode Island
Cost: $650 includes all meals and round trip transportation via coach bus

Overview:
We cordially invite your son to participate in our annual tradition of summer camp from Sunday, July 28 to Sunday, August 4, 2019. This year, Troop 17 will be heading to a new summer camp called Yawgoog ("yah-goo") in Rockville, Rhode Island.Troop 17 will be joining Troop 92, attending Sunday afternoon, July 28 through the morning of Sunday, August 4th. Camp Yawgoog is about three hours and 15 minutes from Short Hills, and we will be hiring a coach bus to transport our Scouts and leaders.
Prerequisites:
Summer camp is open to all Troop members, but is especially important for our newest scouts. Please note that all scouts who have joined our membership since August 2018 must have attended at least two overnight camp trips prior to attending summer camp.
Registration Deadline & Fees
Thursday, February 14th
- Non-refundable deposit of $100 payable online
Wednesday, May 15th
- Balance of $550, permission slip & medical forms (including a picture of your son's insurance card) to be mailed to:

Flexibility for late submissions is simply not possible.
Please note we do not believe financial challenges should be an obstacle in registering your son for summer camp. If anyone should be in need off financial assistance, please contact Mr. Radics and we will strive to find a way to help.
Two discounts are offered by Camp Yawgoog. Families registering two or more Scouts will receive a $50 discount per child. Also, any Scout attending a high adventure camp this year, such as Philmont or Sea Base will receive a $200 discount.
